Oh. Well thats a different story then. But it is still funny to me that gamers now need something to persuade them to play.
What does the author of this article want as a reward if it's not achievement/trophy related? Does he expect them to personally contact him with an "Atta boy!"? Or will he be showered with gifts, and women?
Really now. It's a game. The reward will be playing it and finishing it on the highest difficuly. I know it's a hard to imagine personal victory without achievemnts, but come on.
My biggest issue is this. In the beginning of November I have funds available to spend on myself and was looking forward to getting it. Now if it comes out near Christmas It'll get pushed off by having to buy my kids presents instead of for myself. It looks like I might have to wait untill after the first of the year. I am really dissapointed.
Not bad at all. Sometimes it's not about how good or accurate the costume is. Sometimes it's all in the presentation!
You might want to get that looked at. And I don't mean by her!
You may need to re-read the first sentence. Here I'll show you....
"If this was free on XBL, it is forgivable to have a bug."
See the word "If" at the beginning. He was just making a point.
This is great artwork. (period)!
I like them. I have discovered a funny thing though. I own a Ps3 and an Xbox360. I tend to care about the achievements more than the trophies, and I don't know why.
I do, however hate multiplayer achievements. There are a few games that I really could care less about the online component, therefore there are some achievements I'll never get. Either because I don't want to trudge through the pain of dealing with a+ holes modding and glitching, or I'll never h...
They are never afraid to piss of popular conventions. First it was the PS3, now it's Microsoft and the DLC cap. They would bite the hand that feeds them if they felt it was the right thing to do. I respect that. Let them burn bridges, and have it light thier way!
Why does every one get so up set at the game and it's developers? You are acting like you have invested your time and money into the game. I understand being excited about it but come on people. Go back and read through some of these comments. Ps3 guys are defending it like it's thier children, and Xbox guys are laughing and pointing. It really quite pathetic. It's a game, it's a big release, and yes it's going to have bugs. EVERY game does. Now just stop arguing about it ...
After buying my Canned Air from Starbucks, and a Left Handed Hammer from Sears, it looks like I need to get over to Best Buy.
I'll second what another poster said.
This is why I own both consoles. I never have to be without a game I want to play. (Left for dead, Drakes fortune), (Mass Effect, Heavy Rain), (Forza, GT5). It is good to have choices.
Brink is one I have my hopes up for. If it turns out as well as they say, it will be a top notch game.
I didn't want to affect your bubbles so I'll disagree with you in writting instead.
What do you mean you hate bullets? Bullets and first person shooters go together like J-Lo and her ass. A perfect combination.
The cheesy lines are part of it's "style". Kind of like the '80s action movie heros. I for one never get tired hearing cheesy one liners. It kind of brings back my childhood.
... That should have been the title of this piece of shit "journalism"! What's next, comparing "Barbie dream boat" to Dead Space 2? Well they both have people in them so they must be the same.
"The only reason blu-ray is around is because of price fixing and keeping the cost of DvD's high to make blu-ray a viable option".... What? I though it was around so we can have 1080p and full 7.1DTS master tracks. But oh well I guess we have been fooled. Thanks for clearing that up.
I agree with Blu-ray being fantastic for games and movies. However I can remember when CD's came out in the early '80's. That was going to be the format for EVERYTHING, and forever. Well then DVD showed up (honorable mention to laser disc). And now Blu-ray. You can never say it is the last of something. That is just pure short-sightedness.
Thats great! But now we'll need 1TB drives to hold all our games. And what about movies? I don't know about you but I would rather have manufactures make the cost of a console reflect the power and not how big the Harddrive is. With a high capacity optical drive the money can be spent on processing and intermal memory instead.
Lets do some elementary math. A 120G "Microsoft" harddrive is $150. 1TB/120G= 8.33. 8.33x$150= $1250. Thats a big investment for th...
Seeing how I am still playing Fallout 3 at over 100 hours. I don't think New Vegas will bother me. I was playing jus the other night and loving every minute of it. It seems like whenever I set out for a goal, on the way there I find 3 other things to do and the next thing I know its 2 hours later and I still haven't gone to my goal. And THAT is why I play. Not for the game engine, or the animations. It's the immersiveness and charactors. Nothing more and nothing less. I guess if y...
